Brian Cooper has extensive experience working with many of the top technology leaders in the industry today, using cutting edge survey technology to conduct complex online surveys. He is at the forefront of the latest advances in online survey technology and frequently consults with clients on how to effectively leverage survey technology to drive business results.

Brian has been the architect for and manager of large global deployment and satisfaction tracking programs for some of the largest technology companies in the world. His experience is focused in the technology space for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets with an emphasis in technical, enterprise-based computing including cloud, virtualization, servers, and technical computing.

He is a Vice President at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) focusing on strategic accounts. Prior to TNS, Brian managed the research department at Evans Data Corporation, a research company focused on software development. Brian’s experience in the software development and IT industries includes developer environments, programming languages, server systems, and mobility.

Before Evans Data, he worked at Nielsen|Netratings and was part of the original team to help build the international online panel (previously called eRatings).

Brian published “Making the Link” in 2005 and “The Relationship Continuum” in 2008 with Marketing Research, an AMA publication.

He has a B.S. in Economics from Southern Oregon University.

Maria Philips recently became vice president, consulting at GfK North America. Prior to that she was  a marketing and writing consultant and former Vice President at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) in the technology sector. Prior to TNS, Maria held account executive positions at several marketing research companies including Ipsos, Lightspeed Research, and ASI Entertainment. Her areas of expertise focuses on program and advertising evaluation and media consumption. Maria began her career in market research at AT&T in new product development and held corporate research positions at DirecTV and Showtime Networks before moving to supplier side positions. 

Maria has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA from Lehigh University.
