This book takes you into the thoughts of women of all ages, classes, and cultures. While reading these women's stories, readers can really get a sense of just how the recession has effected their everyday lives and how they coped with the spiraling economy. "Hustle" is full of fun examples that can relate to every age group, as well as great psychological analysis written throughout the book. As a woman I saw the truth brought forth on every page. Ulman and Kibler have written what seems to be near impossible, a book into a woman's mind, and I can only imagine how helpful their ideas and words will help fellow readers!

Pulitzer-prize winning author Alice Walker was quoted as saying that “The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any.” Hustle is an eye opener, showing us all how women today – in spite of being knocked down by a brutal economy – have found their power in the post-Recession world in the most remarkable ways. Hustle reminds us, as marketers, how easy it is to be led astray by our own assumptions and experiences. Ulman and Kibler reinforce that the best marketers start with a clean slate and only draw upon their own strategic and creative instincts once they’ve got a foundation of objective data to build upon.
