I had a chance to read John Zogby's new book while traveling the last few days. I must say that it is a really cool piece of scholarship! I applaud him and his sons for taking on such a huge challenge. And I think he used storytelling effectively in the book. As a humanist told me once after I showed a bunch of data slides, “You didn’t show me any data. For me, stories are the data.” Needless to say, I now always tell a story, too. --Paul Atchley, Ph.D. Associate Dean Academic Innovation and Student Success University of Kansas

The topic of Neo-Tribes was perfect for our conference. In an increasingly intercultural, pan-ethnic and multi-ethnic society, Zogby's work helps us understand cultural differences in a deeper sense. The goal of our conference was to broaden our understanding of cultural competence, and your book and work contributes to this mission both elegantly and effectively. --Maria Pakela Acting Director Intercultural Management Institute

Original, insightful, exceptionally well written, organized and presented, "We are Many, We are One: Neo-Tribes and Tribal Analytics in 21st Century America" is a model of modern scholarship and an invaluable contribution to the field of demographics. Unreservedly recommended for community, governmental, college, and university library American Demographic Studies collections. -- The Midwest Book Review, Reviewers Bookwatch, August 2016

I think it would be very beneficial for marketers to apply Tribal Analytics to brand identity and communications work. Tribal Analytics can help marketers understand not only who within their categories they want to attract to their brands, but who they do attract within our society's tribal landscape. Brands that understand their place within culture, and not just within their respective product or service categories, have a much better shot of transcending their categories and establishing true cultural relevance. John's book takes us a long way to that understanding. --Dayna Dion, former Chief Strategy Officer, Ogilvy & Mather
