ELIZABETH OATES is a seasoned insights leader, author, and speaker with more than two decades of experience helping some of the world’s most recognized companies transform consumer understanding into business impact.

Elizabeth has served at the highest levels of organizations, and across multiple industries, including leadership roles at General Mills, Ulta Beauty, and Kohl’s. She currently leads Consumer and Shopper Insights at Molson Coors Beverage Company. Elizabeth has built Consumer Centricity Centers of Excellence that leverage both insights and foresights to influence strategies with in-the-moment relevance as well as implications for the future, ensuring consumers were the heartbeat of the organization. Elizabeth’s work has elevated the Insights function to operate as a strategic business driver and competitive advantage. 

 

Beyond her executive leadership, Elizabeth is a trusted voice in the industry and a regular speaker at both private leadership forums and global conferences. She has taken the stage at events such as the World Retail Congress, The Market Research Event (TMRE), and Quirk’s, where she inspires audiences with her vision for how insights teams can elevate their impact. She is also a regular guest-lecturer at universities, inspiring and teaching students about insights, retail leadership and marketing.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters. She is a passionate marathoner, avid traveler and a St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Hero.
