Bill Walker's professional background over 30 years combines reporting experience for Canada’s largest newspaper with providing senior communications counsel to both public and private sector organizations.

For more than two decades at The Toronto Star, Mr. Walker worked in a variety of postings, including bureau chief at the Ontario Legislature at Queen’s Park, parliamentary bureau chief in Ottawa, and Washington bureau chief during President George W. Bush’s first term and the attacks of 9/11.  

As a communications professional for the past decade, Mr. Walker has specialized in working with C-level executives and in leading teams to coordinate communications strategies for large corporations and government agencies and departments.  He has worked extensively as a specialist in crisis communications, with an established track record working with complex, contentious issues. Mr. Walker has conducted training for private sector CEOs, Government Ministers, heads of non-profits, and sports personalities. A frequent public speaker, he also appears on television and radio programs as a media commentator.
